As summer quickly approaches, many of the teachers I work with will be exploring ways in which they can use Google Apps for Education to transform the work that is taking place in their schools. With Google Classroom debuting in September, using these tools becomes more intuitive and allows for greater collaborations and organization. The web is rich with resources for teachers, and I’ve selected three that are comprehensive and of the highest quality.
http://learn.googleapps.com/ – A resource for learning and mastering mail, calendar, drive and more. Use the “Learn by App” link on the left for tool-specific resources.
http://www.freetech4teachers.com/– Curated by GCT Richard Byrne, this site is rich with resources for teachers, including a section specifically related to Google Apps tutorials.
http://www.google.com/enterprise/apps/education/resources/lesson-plans.html – Google provides a searchable database of lesson plans that incorporate Google Apps as tools with a purpose.
