Google’s announcement yesterday has significant impact for school districts because it now makes YouTube available to schools using Google Apps for Education in a way that meets the filtering needs of many districts.
Allowing other YouTube admins to approve YouTube content (ideally teacher who accepts responsibility for doing so) goes a long way to ensuring the resources are there when we–teachers and students–need them.
