Amber Klebanoff, Galit Price, John Krouskoff, and Steve Chetcuti spend the day at Google NYC learning and networking
Today was the first GEG NYC meetup, and there was a great turnout and a variety of different presentations and break-out sessions. Our team from the Lower Hudson Regional Information Services (LHRIC) Emerging Technologies had the opportunity to meet with educators from around the region to share experiences and to learn from educators who actively use Google to engage their students. Teachers and administrators from a number of Rockland and Westchester County Schools attended as well, including Tuckahoe, Yorktown, Scarsdale, Tarrytown, Ossining, Clarkstown, North Rockland, Port Chester, and more! One of the teachers involved in our emerging technologies program commented, “While I knew it would be cool and interesting, I never thought I would have major, mind blowing moments!” We look forward to a year full of learning experiences for our teachers and transformational experiences for our students!
